| Common Side Effects: headache, confusion, trouble sleeping, sedation, tremor, agitation, dizziness, hearing disturbances, dry mouth, constipation, nausea, vomiting, weight loss, decreased appetite, weight gain, excessive sweating. |

| Less Common Side Effects: anxiety, delusions, extreme excitement, hostility, impaired sleep quality, slow muscle and motor activity, fatigue, high or low blood pressure, fluttering sensation in the chest, fast heart rate, blurred vision, strange taste in the mouth, increased appetite, upset stomach, diarrhea, impotence, menstrual complaints, urinary frequency, decreased sex drive, urine retention, skin itching, rash, skin temperature changes, arthritis, fever, and chills. |

| Missed Dose: Take the missed dose as soon as possible. If it's within 4 hours of your next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Don't double the dose. |

Drug Interactions: Combining certain medications may alter their actions or produce unwanted effects. Tell your health care provider about other prescription medications, nonprescription medications, herbs, and supplements you're taking, especially:
- another form of bupropion hydrochloride (Zyban)
- carbamazepine (Tegretol)
- levodopa
- MAO inhibitors (antidepressants)
- medications used for nicotine withdrawal
- phenothiazines (such as prochlorperazine and chlorpromazine)
- ritonavir (Norvir)
- tricyclic antidepressants (such as amitriptyline and desipramine).
