oxazepam (pronounced oks-AZ-ih-pam) |

| Common Side Effects: drowsiness, decreased energy. |

| Less Common Side Effects: dizziness, headache, faintness, tremor, slurred speech, swelling of body tissues, nausea, rash, altered sex drive. |

| Missed Dose: Take the missed dose right away if you remember within an hour or so. If you don't remember until later, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Don't double the dose. |

Drug Interactions: Combining certain medications may alter their actions or produce unwanted effects. Tell your health care provider about other prescription medications, nonprescription medications, herbs, and supplements you're taking, especially:
- digoxin
- medications that slow down the central nervous system (such as cold and allergy medications, tranquilizers, and sedatives).
