| Common Side Effects: |

| Less Common Side Effects: headache, dizziness, abnormal dreams, insomnia, numbness or tingling in the arms and legs, tremors, fluttering sensation in the chest, ringing in ears, abnormal vision, sore throat, nausea, diarrhea, constipation, upset stomach, tongue disorder, mouth ulcer, vomiting, altered sense of taste, painful urination, blood in urine, vaginal inflammation, difficulty breathing, rash, sweating, redness at injection site, chills, fever, swelling of hands and feet, and chest, abdominal, joint, muscle, and back pain. |

| Missed Dose: Take it as soon as possible. If it's almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Don't double the dose. |

Drug Interactions: Combining certain medications may alter their actions or produce unwanted effects. Tell your health care provider about other prescription medications, nonprescription medications, herbs, and supplements you're taking, especially:
- antiarrhythmics (such as amiodarone, procainamide, quinidine, or sotalol)
- antidepressants
- antipsychotics
- any product that contains aluminum, iron, magnesium, or zinc (such as an antacid or a multivitamin)
- didanosine (Videx, Videx EC)
- digoxin
- insulin or an oral antidiabetic medication
- probenecid
- warfarin (Coumadin).
