Drug: Relafen

nabumetone (pronounced nuh-BYOO-meh-tohn)

Common Side Effects: dizziness, headache, diarrhea, upset stomach, abdominal pain, constipation, gas, nausea, skin rash, itching.

Less Common Side Effects: fatigue, trouble sleeping, nervousness, sleepiness, inflammation of veins, swelling, ringing in the ears, dry mouth, inflammation of the stomach or mouth, decreased appetite, vomiting, ulcer, problems breathing, inflammation of the lungs, increased sweating.

Missed Dose: Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it's almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Don't double the dose.

Drug Interactions: Combining certain medications may alter their actions or produce unwanted effects. Tell your health care provider about other prescription medications, nonprescription medications, herbs, and supplements you're taking, especially:

diuretics (water pills)
warfarin (Coumadin), other highly protein-bound medications.
