Drug: Diflucan

fluconazole (pronounced floo-KON-uh-zohl)

Common Side Effects:

Less Common Side Effects: headache, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, elevated liver enzyme levels, rash.

Missed Dose: Take the missed dose as soon as possible. If it's almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take your next dose as scheduled. Don't double the dose.

Drug Interactions: Combining certain medications may alter their actions or produce unwanted effects. Tell your health care provider about other prescription medications, nonprescription medications, herbs, and supplements you're taking, especially:

cyclosporine
isoniazid
oral antidiabetic medications
phenytoin (Dilantin)
rifampin
valproic acid (Depakote)
warfarin (Coumadin)
zidovudine (Retrovir).
