| Common Side Effects: fatigue, headache, dizziness, somnolence, abnormal gait, tremors, rhythmic eye movements, double vision, abnormal vision, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, upper tract respiratory infection. |

| Less Common Side Effects: weakness, insomnia, nervousness, agitation, abnormal coordination, difficulty speaking, confusion, anxiety, amnesia, emotional lability, impaired concentration, swelling, chest pain, runny nose, inflamed sinuses, sore throat, nosebleeds, toothache, diarrhea, upset stomach, constipation, decreased appetite, dry mouth, rectal bleeding, changes in taste, thirst, urinary tract infection, urinary frequency, vaginitis, weight gain, muscle weakness, back pain, coughing, bronchitis, acne, hot flashes, rash, bruising, increased sweating, fever, allergy, enlarged lymph nodes. |

| Missed Dose: Take the missed dose as soon as possible. If it's almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Don't double the dose. |

Drug Interactions: Combining certain medications may alter their actions or produce unwanted effects. Tell your health care provider about other prescription medications, nonprescription medications, herbs, and supplements you're taking, especially:
- carbamazepine (Tegretol)
- felodipine (Plendil)
- hormonal contraceptives
- phenobarbital
- phenytoin (Dilantin)
- valproic acid (Depacon, Depakene, Depakote)
- verapamil (Calan, Isoptin, Verelan).
