| Common Side Effects: drowsiness, uncoordinated movements, behavioral disturbances (especially in children). |

| Less Common Side Effects: slurred speech, tremor, confusion, psychosis, agitation, fluttering sensation in the chest, abnormal eye movements, sore gums, constipation, inflamed stomach, change in appetite, nausea, decreased appetite, diarrhea, painful urination, increased urination at night, inability to urinate, chest congestion, shortness of breath, rash. |

| Missed Dose: Take the missed dose as soon as possible. If it's almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take your next dose as scheduled. Don't double the dose. |

Drug Interactions: Combining certain medications may alter their actions or produce unwanted effects. Tell your health care provider about other prescription medications, nonprescription medications, herbs, and supplements you're taking, especially:
- carbamazepine (Tegretol)
- phenobarbital
- phenytoin (Dilantin)
- medications that slow down the central nervous system (such as cold and allergy medications, tranquilizers, and sedatives).
